Welcome to J1.je, Jersey's premier local business directory. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website located at j1.je and any related services we provide. By accessing or using J1.je, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

J1.je is operated from Jersey, Channel Islands. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to J1.je and its operators. References to “you” refer to any person accessing or using the platform.

J1.je provides a directory of local businesses, services, jobs, and classified listings across the island of Jersey. You may browse, search, and interact with listings free of charge. To list a business or post a job, you must create an account and agree to our listing guidelines.

You agree not to use J1.je for any unlawful purpose, to post false or misleading information, to scrape or harvest data without permission, or to interfere with the normal operation of the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these Terms.

All users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@j1.je if you suspect unauthorised access.

Businesses listed on J1.je must be legitimate, registered operations serving Jersey or the Channel Islands. We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion. Listings that are inaccurate, duplicative, misleading, or in violation of Jersey law will be removed without notice.

By submitting a business listing, you confirm that you have the authority to represent that business and that all information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant J1.je a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your listing content on the platform.

The J1.je name, logo, design, and all original content created by us is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. Business names, logos, and trademarks submitted by listing owners remain the property of their respective owners.

J1.je is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or content. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any information contained within it.

We do not endorse any business listed on J1.je and accept no responsibility for the products, services, or conduct of any listed business. Any dealings you have with businesses found through J1.je are solely between you and that business.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Jersey.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of J1.je following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
